Five ‘Must Make’ Crochet Patterns: Beach Edition.

With summer basically in full swing, I feel like it’s only right to focus this must make Monday around the beach! Beach Bags, swim suit cover-ups, and bikini tops! I hope you all love these five must make beach themed crochet patterns!

#1. Granny Square Bag by Sun Sand Stitch.

This is the perfect beginner crochet project, but also perfect to sell at markets or in your shop. It’s quick and easy to make yet looks very detailed! The perfect thing about this pattern is you could easily make it bigger so it could be more like a tote bag as well, and the color combos are endless! Click HERE to get the free pattern.

#2. The Rainbow Saver Tote by The Loopy Lamb.

I’m featuring two bags since I couldn’t pick a favorite and you can never have too many beach bags! This pattern calls for chiffon ribbon so it is definitely going to be a sturdier tote bag which is exactly what you need to haul the beach toys back and forth! You can make this in any color but come on the rainbow is just too cute! Click HERE to get the free pattern.

#3. Crochet June Sunhat by Sewrella.

I don’t even know how to start about this pattern, it’s so perfect for the beach but I feel like you could also dress it up! Ashleigh from Sewrella never disappoints with her patterns, so of course there is a video tutorial which is always a huge plus. She uses a tape yarn which makes this hat one of a kind, and very lightweight! This pattern works up quickly so this is another perfect pattern for markets or for your shop! #4. The Easy, Breezy Swim Cover by Meg Made With Love.

I can’t say enough about this pattern other then I need to make it in every color! When I go to the beach I don’t tend to swim, but I always want to wear a bathing suit, but as a mom of two i’m not a huge fan of how little coverage bathing suits have and I can never find cover ups that I like and that aren’t too warm. This is the best of all the worlds and probably one of my favorite cover ups I’ve seen! Definitely a must make! Get the free pattern HERE.

#5. Crochet Daisy Halter Top by Taylor Lynn Crochet.

I know I’ve talked about Taylor in a couple posts now but this girl is just that talented! She’s the queen of summer crochet patterns, she has a bikini/bandeau/halter top for everyone! This one really stood out to me though, and that says something because I am the queen of covering up! But I feel like this top has just the right amount of coverage without being a full on shirt! (If that makes any sense!) Just imagine all the different color combos you could use with this pattern! Get the free pattern HERE.
